Join us for the "Deconstructed" Art Show - Free Refreshments

On the evening of August 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, we will be hosting an artist’s reception for a new exhibit that will run from August 23 through September 26. The exhibiting artist is Anna Lo Piccolo. Anna is an artist and a member of the KDS family. The name of her show is "Deconstructed", which includes a variety of screenprinted original works of art.

While the reception is occurring in our Scatter Joy Gallery, a “friends and family” sale will be running in our retail store, adjacent to our art gallery. A 25% discount will be extended to all guests on any purchases made in the store during the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.

A note from the artist:

Deconstructed is a collection of one-of-a-kind screenprinted and sewn items. In this collection I utilized both fiber reactive dye and acrylic ink to hand screenprint original patterns and motifs. I approach screenprinting as a semi mono-print, hand-done process —hand cutting stencils or painting directly on the screen and mixing my inks/ dyes from primary base colors. I love the potential for experimentation while printing and the possibilities after printing to transform unique fabric into fun, simple and functional items. I hope you enjoy my most recent experiments!

Screenprinting is a fun, creative outlet for me and I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my process or screenprinting as an artistic pursuit in general.  For more about me and my work please vist my Etsy shop.

Thank you for your interest!
