UPDATE: Pedestrian Hit by Car, Killed in Horsham

The female was killed on Easton Road shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday.

A female was struck by a Lincoln Town Car and killed Friday night on southbound Easton Road, near the back entrance to the Horsham Corporate Center, across from Girard Avenue, police confirmed. The woman, identified as Sharon Minnick, 50, of Pottstown, suffered severe injuries shortly after 8:30 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Police said Minnick was wearing dark-colored clothing as she attempted to cross Easton Road.  An autopsy conducted Saturday morning confirmed that Minnick died of injuries sustained from the crash.
