Hatboro Man Sentenced for Home Invasion Robbery

Ayodele Gabriel Oke was sentenced Thursday for a gunpoint home invasion style robbery of a former Hatboro-Horsham High School classmate.

A Hatboro man was sentenced Thursday to nine years and one month to 43 years and 11 months behind bars after a jury convicted him of various charges stemming from an April 2011 home invasion robbery of a Hatboro-Horsham High School classmate, according to The Mercury. Ayodele Gabriel Oke, 23, of York Road in Hatboro, ranted to Montgomery County Judge Joseph A. Smyth that his conviction was "unjust" prior to being sentenced to time in a state correctional facility. I was there yesterday and left moments before he arrived. Was going to wait for a malt but I'd have been late arriving back from lunch break so I opted to leave. The area IS getting scary. It seems there was man hunt for another suspect up the road later in the day, which I have yet to see coverage on.   more ›

Man Accused of Home Invasion Robbery has Bail Revoked

Ayodele Oke, who is facing charges related to the armed robbery of a former Hatboro-Horsham classmate, was sent to Montgomery County Correctional Facility after allegedly sending threatening text messages.

The Hatboro man awaiting trial on charges that he brandished a gun and threatened to kill his former classmate during a home robbery in Horsham last April, saw his $50,000 bail revoked Tuesday. Ayodele Gabriel Oke, 22, of Hatboro, was arrested last month for allegedly sending 50 threatening text messages to a man who owed him money, according to an article in the Times Herald. The judge also ordered that Oke -who, in November called the judge "insane" and accused him of "domestic terrorism" - undergo an additional psychiatric evaluation and, if necessary, treatment under the Mental Health Procedures Act. The results of the evaluation are to be delivered to the…
