Man Wanted for Hatboro Gun Theft
Police arrest a suspect in conjunction with a Hatboro burglary and attempted sale of stolen guns. Another suspect is being sought.
Police have arrested a man in connection with the attempted sale of numerous stolen assault rifles in the Hatboro and Hatfield area, according to a press release issued by the Montgomery County District Attorney's office. At the time Robert Johnson, aka “J” was arrested on Monday at 10:30 p.m. for his alleged involvement in the stolen gun sale, police said another suspect, Huett Kendall Johnson, aka “KG,” fled from police and is currently on the run. He is considered armed and extremely dangerous. Authorities allege that the men had tried to sell a collection of firearms which police said had been stolen from a Hatboro apartment sometime between May 29 and June 2.
