Everyone has a list and every one is different.

If you're planning on snuggling up with your significant other to watch a romantic movie on Valentine's Day, you certainly have lots of options. But what are the good options? Depends who you ask. The folks at Timeout New York list their 50 favorite romantic movies and they must love the classics, because four of the top 10 movies were from the 1940s, including their number one pick, Casablanca. Moviefone also lists Casablanca as number one followed by Titanic. They deserve extra credit for including the animated Lady and the Tramp as well as cult classic The Princess Bride. Mike, I watched The American President last night - thanks for the inspiration! I've always loved that movie and hadn't watched it in ages. A. J. MacInerney: Excuse me, sir, where are you going? President Andrew Shepherd: I'm going over to her house. I'm going to stand outside her door until she let's me in, and I'm not leaving 'til I get her back. A. J. Local Bed & Breakfasts Offer Romantic Getaways

Instead of traveling far away for a special night with your partner, consider options closer to home.

Traveling to an exotic destination might be what you envision when thinking of a getaway, but there are several romantic staycation ideas much closer to home. Bucks County has more than 40 bed and breakfast spots that would be perfect for a Valentine's excursion. "Bucks County has always been known as an Inn destination," said Michelle Greco Falcone, the communications manager for Visit Bucks County. The area is peppered with historic, romantic and rustic bed and breakfasts to satisfy the tastes of a variety of guests, she explained. With so many options, there is something to fit everyone's budget. Some of the bed and breakfasts don't have televisions, Greco Falcone explained. This helps "create a whole experience and makes it a romantic …

According to a story on Boston.com, Principal Mark Nardelli said he's not cancelling Valentine's Day celebrations, just asking parents not to send candy. While school-wide celebrations are rare in middle schools and high schools, they can take on a lot of forms in elementary school. Last year, one blogger noted that one of…

Patch Poll: Best Place to Take Your Valentine

What do you think is the best place to dine in Hatboro and Horsham - especially for Valentine's Day?

The big day is upon us, so where are you planning to take your Valentine for dinner? Or, perhaps the question should be, where would you like to be taken on Feb. 14? Is it Cafe Lombardi that whets your appetite, or do you prefer Cafe La Fontana, or Buona Via Ristorante Italiano. Maybe na'Brasa's Brazilian flare is more to your liking. Of course, there's also Los Sarapes at Horsham, Fountain Side Seafood Grill, or Kinnaree Thai-French Cuisine. Vote for your favorite dining establishments in the survey below and remember to click on the links above and rate the business on its Patch Place listing. You can even write a review. For those who play elsewhere, check out some of the places on Warminster's Patch poll here or Lower Moreland Patch …
