2 Hatboro-Horsham Schools Receive Title I Honors

Blair Mill and Pennypack elementary schools were recognized as Title I Distinguished Schools.

Educators from Blair Mill Elementary School and Pennypack Elementary School were recognized during Tuesday night's school board meeting for receiving Title I Distinguished School honors recently from the state. According to the U.S. Department of Education, Title I is aimed at improving the academic achievement of the disadvantaged to "ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments."
