Child Killed in School Bullying Incident to be Honored at Phillies Game

12-year-old Bailey O'Neill, who died from injuries sustained during a playground bullying incident, will be honored by the Philadelphia Phillies during their home game against the Red Sox on May 29.

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced they will dedicate their home game on May 29 to the memory of 12-year-old Bailey O'Neill, who died as a result of injuries sustained during a playground bullying incident in March. "We extended the invite to the O'Neill family, and they graciously accepted," said Scott Palmer, Public Affairs Director for the Philadelphia Phillies. "Now we're working on planning out the rest of the day." Fatal Shooting Christmas Night in Montco

Police say a 24-year-old man is dead after being shot in an alley in Norristown on Christmas night.

Norristown Police responded to the area of West Scott Alley and Park Alley at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Christmas night, Tuesday, Dec. 25, for a report of a shooting and are now investigating a homicide. According to authorities, a 24-year-old unidentified local man has been pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds. There is no suspect and police are investigating the crime in collaboration with Montgomery County Detectives. Warrington Man Killed in Horsham Crash

The one-vehicle accident happened on Dresher Road Sunday morning.

Horsham Police are seeking witnesses of a one-vehicle crash that killed a Warrington man Sunday. Authorities are still investigating what may have caused Michael Leo, 42, of Warrington, to drive his Dodge pickup truck off of the roadway on Dresher Road in the area of Windsor Pass and strike a utility pole and a concrete retaining wall. Leo, the driver and sole occupant of the car, was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital where he died following the 10:06 a.m. crash. The accident is under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Officer Jeff Biggins or Detective Adam Dunning at 215-643-8284.

Funeral Arrangements Set for Teens Killed in Weekend Car Crash

Funerals for Edward Coombs and Robert Nagle, both 19, will be held Wednesday and Friday respectively.

Funeral arrangements for Edward Coombs, 19, of Horsham, have been scheduled for Wednesday.  Coombs, a lacrosse player and Hatboro-Horsham 2010 graduate, was one of two teens killed in a car crash early Saturday morning near the intersection of Witmer and Norristown roads in Horsham. A viewing will be held for Coombs on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Catherine of Siena located at 321 Witmer Road, Horsham. The funeral service will be held at St. Catherine of Siena at noon.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Coombs family can be made to an account held at TD Bank. Donations can be made in person at any TD branch or by mail to TD Bank, 929 Horsham Road, Horsham, Pa. 19044. The account is the Edward Coombs Memorial Fund. Funeral …
