No one was injured in a fire that badly damaged a garage behind a business in Horsham Tuesday night, officials said.
A fire started in a SUV just before 10 p.m. Tuesday and spread to the garage it was housed in behind Ben-Tor Auto Sales at 732 Easton Road in Horsham. Walker said the estimated cost of the project was $20,000 but the township …

Township Council hopes to improve area from Blair Mill Road to Dresher/Meetinghouse Road
In an attempt to correct "visual and functional problems" on a roughly one-half mile portion of Easton Road in an older section of Horsham, the township council intends to begin a revitalization plan later this year, Township Manager William Walker said. Walker said the planning process is expected to get underway mid-year and would likely involve the formation of a committee to help the township council determine what improvements should be made to the corridor of Route 611 from Blair Mill Road to Dresher/Meetinghouse Road. Improvements would make the area more "pedestrian-friendly" and "business-friendly," Walker said, noting that landscaping and streetscaping would help beautify the commercially-zoned strip, which consists of auto …
