Expanded Parking Lot Planned for Penn Mutual

The over-parked lot at Penn Mutual Life Insurance in Horsham may pose hazards, officials said.

The 540 parking spaces for 700 Penn Mutual employees in Horsham are not adequate. And it shows. "You can see cars parked on the grass," Horsham Township Manager Bill Walker said. A decision is expected at the council's June 12 meeting, according…

Office Park Hopes to Pave Way for 250 Jobs

The facility occupied by Comcast in Horsham is expected to double in size with the addition of a second tenant, officials said.

By next year, the Comcast facility in the 12-acre Pennsylvania Business Campus on Dresher Road could double in size, adding 250 new jobs at the site, officials said. But, before the building can accommodate more employees, Liberty Property Trust, the campus' management company, needs to expand its parking from the existing 521 spaces for 500 Comcast employees to 655 total spaces, officials said during Wednesday night's Horsham Township Council meeting. The council took no action on Liberty's land development plan. The governing body is expected to render a decision at its June 12 meeting, according to Horsham Township Manager Bill Walker.  Once approvals are in hand, construction would begin between now and July 2014, depending on how …

"There would be "office" jobs. She also would not disclose if any of the jobs would be new jobs for Horsham, or simply resulting from a business relocation." So what this is saying, there is NOT a guaranteed that any jobs would be available. So why is the patch reporting this? Also, what the hell is the big secret about what company is going to occupy the space? Sounds like a bunch of crap to me!   more ›

Did they ever find out how he died? This happened in front of my house, it didn't seem like a horrible deadly crash so I still wonder if he died from something other than the accident.   more ›
