What's on Your Hot Dog?

Hatboro-based Denny's Dogs offers tastes ranging from potatostick cheese dog to frito cheese dog and nearly every combination in between.

From bacon-wrapped to sauerkraut, homemade chili and/or cheese-topped, Denny's Dogs offers hot dogs–and accompanying accoutrements–for any meat-lover. The takeout eatery, which opened last month at 471 Jacksonville Road in Hatboro, also serves up sausage, kielbasa, as well as more exotic hot dog concoctions, including the Potatostick Cheese Dog and Frito Cheese Dog. With prices starting at just 2 bucks, lunch won't break the bank.

Denny's Dogs Adds Sign, Moves Toward Opening

Dennis Gaffin is working to open his new business, Denny's Dogs, in Hatboro.

Renovations are "progressing" at an up-and-coming hot dog eatery in Hatboro, the owner told Patch. Dennis Gaffin, the mastermind behind Denny's Dogs, a Jacksonville Road hot dog, sausage and chili takeout spot, has hung the sign for his new restaurant, which he had originally hoped to open by mid-September.  "We still have no set date for a grand opening, but things are progressing," Gaffin said.  In the meantime, Gaffin said he launched a Facebook page for Denny's Dogs.

Meet the Business Owner

Hot Dog! Hatboro Biz is Meat-lovers' Dream

Upcoming Hatboro takeout restaurant, Denny's Dogs, will offer hot dogs, fixings and more.

All-beef hot dogs, chicken sausage, kielbasa, knockwurst and more hearty comfort foods will be available soon in Hatboro.  When Warrington resident Dennis Gaffin opens Denny's Dogs, at 471 Jacksonville Road in Hatboro, his roughly 500-square-foot takeout eatery will offer so much beyond the all-beef dog that he intends to be his staple.  "I've always wanted to do it," Gaffin said of his dream of having a hot dog cart.  Since Gaffin said the necessary permits for the portable food cart are tough to come by, he plans to open the next best thing in mid-September. And because the eatery will be takeout only, his food and fixings will offer the same conveniences as those on wheels.  "They can come and go," Gaffin said of prospective customers…
