Camp Activities Abound at Hatboro Y
Hatboro Area YMCA offers 11 week-long summer camps through Aug. 29.
Don’t ask Adriana Burmeister to pick her favorite summer camp. There’s just too many to choose from. As she fleshed out the vivid watercolor and colored pencil hues of her fish during a recent Art Camp at the Hatboro YMCA, Adriana shared that she’s participated in “almost all” of the Y’s 24 week-long day camps. She’s made (healthy) carrot cake cupcakes in Crafts and Cooking Camp and designed a garden stone with the Phillies emblem. Adriana is one of about 400 campers the Hatboro Area YMCA will host this summer in a variety of camps ranging from cheerleading, gymnastics, fashion, sports, fishing and hiking, leadership training for teens, and more, according to Hatboro Y Camp Director Mary Fannon.
