'Summer Music at the Hat' Brings Together Area Musicians
Music camp culminates with a free concert on Thursday at Simmons Elementary School.
Hatboro-Horsham School District students and those from surrounding districts have been using the summer months to hone their musical talents. The students are all part of "Summer Band at the Hat," the area's largest and most dynamic music camp. The program features a variety of instruction, for those who have never played an instrument to those who want to learn how to play a second instrument. Some students opt to stay for a full day, while others stay for just a one-hour session. Hatboro-Horsham students attend, as do those from Centennial School District, St. Alphonsus Catholic School, and Calvary Christian Academy.
