Drunken Hit-and-Run Could Get Hatboro Man Up to 6 Months

A Hatboro man pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing the scene after hitting a pedestrian.

A Hatboro man will serve between 72 hours and six months behind bars for a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian, according to Phillyburbs.com. Brian S. Refsnider, 55, who was arrested last February following the Feb. 28, 2012 crash, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing the scene of a crash.  During his sentencing this week, Refsnider's license was suspended for a year and he was ordered to serve three years of probation following parole. In addition, he must pay a $1,000 fine, carry out 36 hours of community service and undergo a substance abuse review and comply with suggested treatment.
