Hatboro Police made two Driving Under the Influence arrests so far this month.
The following information was provided by the Hatboro Police Department. Driving Under the Influence Underage Drinking/Disorderly Conduct A 19-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 7 at 11:27 p.m. on Dec. 7 at 11:27 p.m. and cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct when officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of Byberry Avenue. Harassment/Disorderly Conduct A 27-year-old Warminster man was cited for harassment and disorderly conduct and a 28-year-old Philadelphia man was cited for driving under suspension on Dec. 4 at 3:09 p.m. after police responded to a disturbance in the roadway in the 400 block of North York Road.

Hatboro Police said coin thefts and damage to vending machines was valued at more than $1,000.
A vending machine is approximately $1,400 short of change - and damage rendered - after Hatboro Police said someone stole its coin boxes. The incident occurred in an apartment complex in the 400 block of North York Road on Dec. 7, police said. The damage to the machines, coupled with the loss of coins is approximately $1400, police said.

Hatboro Police heard reports of theft, attempted burglary and criminal mischief earlier this month.
A satellite radio was stolen from a vehicle parked in Hatboro and a borough shed was attempted to be burglarized earlier this month, according to Hatboro Police. Theft (from vehicle) Sometime overnight between Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 someone entered an unlocked car parked in the 200 block of Jacksonville Road and stole a Sirius XM satellite radio with mount and charger. The stolen items have an estimated replacement value of approximately $230, police said. Burglary attempt Sometime between Nov. 19 and Nov. 20, someone attempted to burglarize a shed and a garage located on a property in the 400 block of North York Road, according to police. Both men were charged with assault and other charges stemming from what Hatboro Police said stemmed from physical altercations against women.
A Hatboro woman sustained scratches and another required ambulance transport to the hospital after separate altercations with men earlier this month, according to police. The victim was transported via ambulance to Abington Memorial Hospital with shoulder injuries, according to police. Demianczyk was arraigned before District Justice Hunsicker of Norristown and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail. He was arraigned before District Justice James Gallagher of Bridgeport and was incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on $10,000 bail. The following information has been provided by the Hatboro Police Department. Theft On May 1, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., a purse was reportedly stolen from a customer while they shopped at a commercial business on East Moreland Avenue. The purse contained cash, credit cards, and prescription medication. Warrant service Assault Mustafa Ibraheem Elias, 45, of Hatboro, was arrested on April 20 at 8:41 p.m., and charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct, after officers responded to a disturbance on Yorkshire Way. Thieves made off with a variety of personal property Sunday night into Monday from multiple unlocked vehicles on North Penn Street, Bon Air Avenue and East Monument Avenue, police said. Criminal mischief Theft (from vehicle) On March 15 an iPod and accessories were stolen from an unlocked car that was parked in the 300 block of Crooked Billet Road. The financial loss from the incident is approximately $240. Credit fraud On March 14 a resident from James Road reported his credit card was used to make a fraudulent purchase of a credit report from Experian for $19.95. The credit report obtained likely belonged to another potential victim and Experian was notified of the fraudulent transaction. Theft Assault David W. Two charged in two separate DUI, hit and run crashes.
The following information was provided by the Hatboro Police Department. Harassment/solicitation to commit assault Robert A. Reese, 46, of Warminster, was arrested on Wednesday at 10 a.m. on a Hatboro Police arrest warrant for criminal solicitation to commit aggravated assault, criminal solicitation to commit simple assault, criminal solicitation to commit criminal mischief, and harassment. The arrest stemmed from an investigation that police said revealed Reese solicited another person to assault his brother-in-law and damage his estranged wife’s car. Police investigate several instances of credit card fraud and identity theft.
The following information was provided by the Hatboro Police Department. Driving Under the Influence Theft/credit fraud Sometime overnight between Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, someone entered a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Springdale Avenue and stole two iPod Touch devices and a wallet containing various credit cards and gift cards. The credit cards were then used to make purchases at a nearby store. It is unknown if the vehicle was locked when the theft occurred. The investigation is ongoing. Horsham man arrested on domestic abuse charges.
The following information was provided by the Horsham Township Police Department. At 10:41 p.m. on Feb. 17, officers responded to the 1100 block of Brynhill Court in Horsham for a domestic dispute in progress. An investigation revealed that an argument occurred between Leonard Cherkas, 61, and his girlfriend that police said escalated into a physical confrontation. As a result of the alleged incident, Cherkas was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment.
