Driver Killed in Horsham Crash
A man died as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicle crash Sunday evening in Horsham.
A vehicle collision which closed Horsham Road Sunday evening in the area of Lancers Diner has claimed the life of a man, according to Horsham Township Police. Citing notification of family, police are not yet releasing the identity of the 41-year-old Danboro man, who had been driving a 1998 Dodge Neon at the time of the 7:37 p.m. crash which occurred in the 800 block of Easton Road Sunday night. Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that the Dodge Neon had been traveling north on Easton Road and, for an unknown reason, crossed into the southbound lanes of Easton Road. Hate to say it but it sounds like he was intoxicated/blacked out...it's that time of year. There's no reason to cross lanes and go head on into a 18 wheeler unless car failure which is uncommon. Again, just my opinion.   more ›
