If the County didn't do it this what, what else would make then pay? Surely not takingRead More responsibility and doing it on their own...If so, it wouldn't of come to this. Sure everyone's situation is different. Like a comment above "I have to pay because my Ex is to lazy to get a job" NO, you pay because the child is also yours. You would be paying if she worked or not. It's the way it is and doing whats right! Those not paying or thinking this way sure have some crappy morals...
mac July 22, 2014 at 02:14 pm
Don't you all think that those kids already see their parents as villains for not caring enough toRead More stick around and be responsible. That is the problem with this country and so many who live in it. Everything is disposable even their own children. And when they are not disposing of items they have their hands out for more freebies. Some of the kids in the system might not even know that the pictures are their dads or moms, because they have never seen them. There is no good way to collect but it is time they did something. I know for one I'm tired of working all my life to see my money go to increased taxes to pay for those able bodied persons on the welfare wagon!
George Robertson July 22, 2014 at 02:38 pm
In response Kathleen, I have paid every penny that I was ordered to pay, I should at least have theRead More satisfaction of knowing it went to my child and not for my ex's pleasures. There needs to be accountability presented. Not just pay the money and you don't need to know where it goes. I have always been a responsible person in regards to finances, but if the other spouse is lousy at it, that is not the other spouses problem.

The count for Chicago this past weekend. 40 shot/4 killed

What the hell is a "magazine clip"? Semi-automatic pistols use a magazine. Technically,Read More it's called a box magazine. Clips are completely DIFFERENT!! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_RYwUPr35rLw/SMSzcYalaPI/AAAAAAAAAM4/pgTUU7jUlFo/s1600-h/Magazine+-+vs+-+Clip.jpg

Amazing how Irish Americans like Truth are the first to speak in generalities about blacks andRead More Hispanics, but if someone dare applies those standards to the Irish, they become the most hypersensitive people of all. O'Brien, couldn't help but notice you confirmed everything I said in your response; not surprising given your background. I said to ban Irish immigration, as they come over poor and uneducated. By your own accord about your family, they didn't receive any education until they came to America. By your own accord, many Irish go into law enforcement, a job that is blue collar and for those who aren't educated...no surprise the Irish flock to such jobs. And, when it comes to explaining why your descendants were poor savages in Ireland, you blame the British. Amazing how the very Irish people who tell black folk to stop whining about the effects of slavery and segregation shriek about British oppression of the Irish whenever the savage backwardness of the emerald isle is brought up! Surely you'd agree by the same accord that Africa and the Middle East are a mess because of British oppression and imperialism!
Why July 22, 2014 at 08:07 pm
Josh, not all Irish were poor savages, put upon by the British. Some of the "savages"Read More actually fought back and killed the British. Never refer to an Irish person as "poor" until you look in the mirror! I have followed your posts. You specialize in whining, inflammatory posts. Where does our hatred and desire for instilling anger in others come from? Is it because you are loathed?
Josh Goldstein July 23, 2014 at 04:43 pm
The way to not be a poor savage is to get money and education. Irish American's can finally getRead More money and education because they're no longer in Ireland, as our pal O'Brien pointed out. Killing someone doesn't magically turn you into a rich civilized person. Although, I'm not surprised that a feeble Irish mind would equate violence with behavior that is not 'poor savagery.' What am I whining about? The only whining I see is you and O'Brien turning into the McSharpton because I had the audacity to speak empirical facts about the educational and financial status of Irish immigrants.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is still seeking these parents for delinquent child support.
Laura July 17, 2014 at 05:49 pm
So many parents hide income and scheme to find ways to lower their support. The guidelines areRead More already so low it makes it difficult to support your children on what you are given. If you have a child just do the right thing and support them already or don't have kids!! It's a privilege not a right...
amisstree July 19, 2014 at 02:19 am
These procreating monstrosities need to be sterilized. If the gov didn't "reward" theseRead More miscreants w/ $ for every baby they produced this cycle would STOP IMMEDIATELY! As would, this immigrationcrisis as well. Back in "civil times", if u couldn't afford to have/raise a child, a child wasn't conceived. Now, they get housing, food, medical assistance while mom and the random guy she's currently "banging" smoke crack all night. Great system, my fear, it's only to get worse. Socialism, isn't it great?!
Steven Wright July 21, 2014 at 12:17 pm
The entire child-support system is flawed. I have my child 45% of the time....every weekend for 5Read More years and I still have to pay almost $500/month so the mom can work 3 days a week cutting hair. But I'm sure she declares every cent of her tips.

Let's just draw a firing squad from MADD volunteers and shoot him at first light. Then display theRead More body outside their local headquarters for 6 months as a warning to others...
Country1st July 9, 2014 at 10:42 am
Enough! To make light of this being his 10 DUI is pathetic. What's the guy have to do -- killRead More someone? He shouldn't be driving. Period. And there's a law for you: you get 10 DUI -- regardless of period of time -- you lose your license. PERIOD
Cally Goddard July 9, 2014 at 03:04 pm
no really send him out WEST he'll simply get a licence there. Federal licences? I'm with theRead More firing squad; give Craig and Matthew the gun and/or pay for 40yrs in jail to go to the chair? From what I hear they get better drugs in jail anyways.....
Leigh July 8, 2014 at 10:31 am
Unfortunately, some people don't learn. How about enforcing the work zone speed restrictions?
Elizabeth Cordone July 9, 2014 at 11:06 am
Was there any police watching the site? Their presence would help people, hopefully, to slow down.

Once again (and almost within 24 hours) the news brings us another horrific tragedy regarding theRead More senseless death of two more PA children. This has been a hard summer for the little ones. I pray we do not hear about any more of these tragedies. My prayers go out to the parents of these two little angels. So very sorry for your loss and for all the other children who have lost their lives due to freak accidents and/or simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
DirtyJersey July 12, 2014 at 07:19 pm
Obama needs to put a ban on dressers now!!! Just like guns they're killing people
Margalit Tetlow July 15, 2014 at 07:47 am
Deepest condolences to the family. What a senseless loss of young life. But I wonder where were theRead More parents when the children started playing on something so patently dangerous?
Mailmam July 6, 2014 at 12:39 pm
So very very sorry for all of the losses A terribly sad day in the City of Brotherly love
JB July 7, 2014 at 03:50 pm
sad for the families

This truly tragic. My heart and prayers go out to these families, especially those who lost theRead More little ones.

@F-TR - well, at least it's six of one and a half of dozen of the other even though the AmericanRead More Water Christie-style pit bull bellowing water tower will offend us 24/365 – personally, if I had to pay American Water for their service, I would enclose one canned sardine in every payment envelope [tried to use your reply button to no avail - that's a 50/50 option also]
Juliana Brady July 4, 2014 at 01:22 pm
Weekender's don't pay attention to such important things like how to get out of a rip current. EvenRead More I a strong swimmer with certifications had trouble getting out of a couple of them. I also fully knew how to handle myself and it's still a killer for those who come down here to party and then think they are jumping into a pool in the backyard. Never turn your back to the Ocean, give it the respect it deserves, and don't go in just to cool off thinking it's just a "rip current" no biggie! The Ocean will take you down in a flash.

The last time I ate food out of a truck there was a similar explosion...
Nick Matregrano July 4, 2014 at 12:23 pm
Propane is a very flammable and explosive heavy gas. A lot heavier than air, if there is a leak itRead More will hang low until it finds an ignition source. You have to make sure the regulator and hose is tight on the bottle and replace hoses if they become cracked or dry rotted. They require daily maintenance.

There is also a loan place that does this too. It is cash loan USA. I had it happen to me. They tookRead More $65.00 from me and never have me the loan they asked for me to get another card.

They have to announce these checkpoints because checkpoints in and of themselves areRead More unconstitutional. The SCOTUS said that in order for checkpoints to be considered "legal" notice must be given and drivers must have a way to legally avoid the checkpoint. Get educated people. Its not about being above the law, its about asserting YOUR RIGHTS.
Dave Urner July 3, 2014 at 04:30 pm
First, I stand corrected regarding SCOTUS and consider myself educated as to the "legal"Read More aspects regarding announced check points. I take it that it's okay for a person to throw down a few brews and then hit the highways. I guess it is okay for a drunk driver to infringe on "THE RIGHTS" of another driver... to drive without getting T-boned by a drunk driver. I happened to have a couple of close friends who have been impared....FOR LIFE that were involved in DUI accidents. What happened to the two DUI drivers ??? They were made to wear those bright orange colored monkey jump suits for a few Sundays and tidy up the 422 by-pass and told what they did is a no no, don't do it again.
Peter Maravitch July 4, 2014 at 02:25 am
Need to take that photo down of the four lanes each way. It just upsets Lehigh Valley drivers evenRead More more considering Penn Dot built 78 at a great deal of expense and forgot to make it 3 lanes its whole length. So when this needs to be done because it will, especially going up that long hill heading East before the Rt 33 exit (how dumb was that move), we will again have to sit in long lines, a ton of extra cost not needed if they did it right the first time and just get more upset.

I live in the Meetinghouse Village development. I walk my dog everyday through the neighborhoodRead More which used to include Maple Avenue between 611 and County Line Road. We used to have police sit on Serrill Avenue at different times of the day to pull over speeders. In addition periodically we would have the speed indicator sign set up at the corner of Serrill and Maple Avenue. These were huge deterrents for speeders. It's been about 3 years now that we haven't had any monitoring of speeders. I was told that the officer who used to sit and watch was the son of another officer and once his dad moved he stopped monitoring the situation. I have called to express my concerns with no resolve. The cars go well over the 25 mph posted speed because they have also realized no one is watching anymore. The stretch of Norristown Road between County Line and Street Road has the same problem. However, the Warminster police continue to monitor and ticket speeders who exceed the 25 mph posted speed limit. What is especially upsetting is that Hallowell Elementary School is on Maple Avenue and at dismissal time we have numerous children walking home on this stretch of road. This speeding problem on Maple Avenue between 611 and County Line Road continues to escalate. Cars continue to speed. We have tractor trailers using this road as a cross thru which totally confuses me because there are no businesses on this stretch of road. It is strictly residential. Tractor trailers should be prohibited. The traffic light was installed at 611 and Maple Avenue for the safety of drivers. How about taking the same care for the safety of the neighborhood?
KH July 2, 2014 at 12:22 pm
Joan, I agree 100%. But my concerns fall on deaf ears to the Horsham Police. Post signs for NO TRUCKRead More traffic, and control speeders either thru stop signs or radar traps. They claim they don't see trucks on our stretch and speeding isn't that big of an issue. I will continue my letter writing to them, and possible to the PA Attorney General if nothing is done.
Sharon M July 6, 2014 at 07:28 am
I live on Maple Avenue and it is nearly impossible to back out of my driveway without a speeder onRead More my tail before I put it in gear and move forward. Then they fly around me on the left. When I try to make a left into my driveway they go around me on the left and there have been many close calls. In both cases, I get honked at like I'm doing something wrong. Trying to do the speed limit only puts you at risk because of people driving too close behind you. I have seen MANY terrible accidents on this street attributed to speed. Something needs to be done to correct this problem.
