Great place to live. Love everything about the complex including the staff and people who reside here. Anyone who doesn't expect to hear some noise should not be living in a multi-level complex.
Victorian Village

Victorian Village is within walking distance from Hatboro's main drag, but it has somewhat of a main drag of its own. There's a bank, a restaurant and a spa on premises, as well as a fitness center, a billiards room and plenty of public space. It's a close-knit community for people 55 and over that has 168 two-bedroom units that average 1800 square feet.

Victorian Village halls and grounds are kept like an upscale resort! The staff is super friendly and always there if you need them. Fitness Center is extremely convenient. I love having a restaurant on premises! I feel like I'm finally home!
My mother is an owner in Victorian Village. The facilities are beautiful and the apartments are very nice but I would not recommend purchasing or renting an apartment (at least in Building A or B) because the sound issues are horrendous. Some of these issues may be resolved in the newly finished Building C. My mother is in a third floor apartment and you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on upstairs in the fourth floor apartment. You can hear telephones ringing, conversations happening, toilets flushing, and every single movement that occurs. While the buildings are "to code," they are nowhere near the "luxury adult lifestyle community" advertised by the sales office. There is no concrete in between the apartments.
Despite frequent complaints to the sales office and a meeting with the builder, the builder refuses to do anything to correct the sound issue. An architect, approved by the builder, assures that a fix is possible that will assure these sound problems go away but the builder refuses to do anything to resolve this problem.
One could choose to live in a top floor Apartment in Building A or B knowing that they will not have to deal with sounds above them but know that the people below you will be able to hear everything you do: walking around, chatting, urinating, flushing the toilet, and other intimate life moments.
I have lived in a variety of apartment buildings and have never heard sound as terrible as it is here.

My mother moved into Victorian Village several months ago and has been so happy! She frequently dines with other residents at the Village Bistro Restaurant where the food is excellent! She even joined the ymca next door to swim and takes frequent walks into Hatboro! The hallways are always clean and the staff even changed her light bulbs and filter. It is so nice to see her feeling at home.
