Los Sarapes Horsham
215-654-5002
Los Sarapes brings an authentic Mexican dining experience to the Horsham area. The menu offers a range of south-of-the-border cuisine, such as the huachinago, an entire seasoned red snapper. The restaurant is decorated in festive blues and yellows; the walls adorned with framed pesos, maps of Mexico, and other novelties. Los Sarapes is usually busy with regular patrons who dine or drink at the margarita and tequila bar. Visit the restaurant's website for more information.

Los Serapes features Mexican cuisine "beyond the border". They serve dishes from the heartland of Mexico - not the Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex you might find in other places. Last week, we had "Camarones al Tequila al a Diablo" (Shrimp in spicy sauce) and the special "Chiles en Nogada" (Poblano pepper stuffed with port and fruit covered in a white walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds). Both were fabulous. Heat and flavor melded perfectly. I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention the Margaritas. So good, I've copied the recipe (but won't tell their secrets here!).
