Great cookies and cheese danishes. Every birthday cake I have ever gotten from here was delicious. Only problem I have is that sometimes when I come in, they don't have what I'm searching for, which is always a let down.

Very displeased with Lochel's. As a bakery they have to know at times there are custom ordered that need time and attention. I went in to discuss my daughters 13th birthday cake and get all the infomation that I needed in order to 1.) Order it, 2) Design it 3) Price and then pickup. I wanted a choc cake with a zibra design and Glass shoe on top. YOUR child only turns 13 once. This was a big event for my family. I went in 1 month and 3 days before the accual day. The girl told me that they could do everything I was asking and I only needed to coming in two weeks before the event and place the order (or I could call). I asked if I needed to place a deposit she said no. When I called they took my name and info and told me the baker would call me back. Four days go by and I hear nothing. So I call again and the baker wouldnt even get on the phone with me she was talking through the woman that picked up the phone. Not only were they rude , they told me at this point they were not sure they could do the shoe in time. THIS IS WHY I CAME IN AHEAD OF TIME. Needless to say Rilings Bakery on Street Road came to my aid and got the cake done. I loved Lochels pastrys but wont recommend thier cake business to anyone!!
