Weather.com is predicting precipitation for Friday, although the current forecast shows the rain will likely clear by the evening.
As of 2 p.m. Thursday, Weather.com says there is a 70 percent chance of daytime rain in the Philadelphia region. The forecast predicts skies will begin to clear around 4 p.m.
By nightfall, weather.com predicts mostly clear skies, which is good news for everyone headed to fireworks.
