Trick or Treat on Sesame Street

Sesame Place in Langhorne offers plenty of un-scary family Halloween fun.

The home of everyone's favorite Sesame Street characters has been transformed into a Halloween extravaganza of costume-clad characters, hayrides, trick-or-treating stations, themed parades and shows and seasonal amusement rides.

Perhaps nowhere else but Sesame Place can kids dance with Ernie at his rubber ducky-themed costume party, held in the drained wading pool area of the park's Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave.

And what's Halloween without a maze - or two? Kids can weave their way through the Count's Un-Haunted Castle Maze, an interactive experience where guests can listen to music, practice their counting, see themselves in funny mirrors and more.

Abby Cadabby's Magical Halloween Maze offers hints to keep even the youngest maze-goers turning the next corner.

Sesame Place has added another Fall tradition: Hayrides. Costumed Boys and ghouls–and Mummies and Daddies too–can ride along with characters and hear stories along the way.

The park's daily shows, including Elmo's World Live, have received Halloween makeovers too.

The Neighborhood Street Party Parade–the park's signature daily event–has been expanded to include Halloween-themed songs and dances.

Count Von Count–the character of honor for Halloween festivities–stars in two Halloween shows, "The Count's Not Too Spooky Howl-O-ween Radio Show," and "Countdown to Halloween."

Trick-or-treating stations are peppered throughout the park, and, as usual, kids can meet their favorite characters–in costume–along Sesame Street.

Plus, the park's dry rides are open (and tend to have shorter lines) and two new rides have been added in the area of the Count's Splash Castle.

So, grab your princess or superhero and head to Sesame Place to see how children's beloved characters celebrate Halloween.
