Score Touchdown for Cancer Research, Shop, Be Well

From crafts and flea markets to physical fitness challenges and local fundraisers, community events in Hatboro and Horsham offer something for everyone this weekend.

Looking for weekend happenings? You've got lots to choose from. Here are some options:

LEMON BOWL
Where/when: Lukens Park, 540 Dresher Road in Horsham, Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. 
Why go: Cheer on flag football players as they take it to the gridiron to raise money for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to fight childhood cancer. 
Cost: Free to watch

FLEA MARKET
Where/when: Hatboro Community Methodist Church, 730 Preston Lane, Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. 
Why go: Shop for bargains, as well as seasonal decorations, books, crafts, toys and more. 
Cost: Depends on what you buy.

WELLNESS DAY
Where/when: Naturalistic, 126 N. York Road, Hatboro Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. 
Why go: Representatives will be on hand to discuss vitamins and supplements, healthy eating, yoga, skin products, Reiki, as well as natural products. Samples of fresh-made juice, honey and more will also be available. 
Cost: Free 

TRUNK OR TREAT
Where/when: Bux-Mont Baptist Church 309 W. County Line Road, Hatboro, Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
Why go: Kids can trick or treat from the trunks of decorated cars and enjoy games. 
Cost: Free

FALL GAMES
Where/when: 
Hatboro-Horsham High School, 899 Horsham Road in Horsham, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 
Why go: Flex your muscle in a variety of fitness challenges, while enjoying food and music and raising money for Horsham Athletic Club's Fitness for Autism Program.
Cost: $10

CHEERLEADING FUNDRAISER
Where/when: Horsham Athletic Club, 400 Horsham Road, Horsham, Sunday at 1 p.m. 
Why go: Shop various vendors and receive food, drinks, wine, a free tote bag and more with admission price. Proceeds benefit Hatboro-Horsham High School's cheerleaders.
Cost: $20 donation for non-students; $5 donation for students 

RUMMAGE SALE
Where/when: Lehman United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road in Hatboro, Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. 
Why go: Shop for various goods.
Cost: Free (on Saturday)

CRAFTS IN THE BARN
Where/when: 4130 Thistlewood Road in Hatboro, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Why go: Various items from more than 75 vendors will be available for purchase.
Cost: Free admission
