BOOK SALE AND BAZAAR

Where/when: Union Library of Hatboro, 243 S. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: Pick up book bargains, browse crafters and vendors exhibiting and shred unwanted documents during the shredding event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MOVIE IN THE PARK

Where/when: Deep Meadow Park, 1020 Horsham Road, Horsham, Saturday beginning at 9 p.m. (arrive at 8:30 p.m. to find seats).

Why go: Join your friends and neighbors in watching the Disney movie, "Brave," (rated PG).

Cost: Free

LOBSTER POT DINNER

Where/when: College Settlement Camp, 600 Witmer Road, Horsham, Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy a steak or lobster dinner complete with accoutrements, a raffle, music and more.

Cost: $35 per person

CUB SCOUTS RECRUITMENT PICNIC

Where/when: Lehman United Methodist Church, 300 S. York Road, Hatboro, Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why go: Boys in first- through fifth-grades can learn about scouting, while meeting leaders, taking part in the Cub-mobile Grand Prix, constructing a monkey bridge and shooting off water rockets.

Cost: Free

SELF-CARE SERIES

Where/when: Naturalistic, 126 N. York Road, Hatboro, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Why go: Kick off this four-week session with a session on holistic health. Other teachings include stress management and chair yoga.

Cost: $35 per week.

‘RUMOURS’ SHOW

Where/when: School of Rock, 425 Delaware Dr., Fort Washington, Friday at 7 p.m.

Why go: This back to school open house features a Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” show.

Cost: Free
