Veterans Day Freebies, Billboard Consideration This Week
See what's happening this week in Hatboro and Horsham.
- In honor of Veterans Day on Monday, Hatboro and Horsham municipal offices will be closed, along with federal and state offices. Click here for more on what's open and closed locally.
- The Hatboro Baptist Church will dedicate a replacement tombstone for an African-American Civil War veteran from Hatboro on Monday at 11 a.m. Click here for more.
- Hatboro-Horsham schools will be open on Monday. Keith Valley Middle School will host its annual Veterans Day breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the school, which is located at 227 Meetinghouse Road in Horsham.
- Veterans and active military can also get a free "big two-do" breakfast at Friendly's, including the Horsham location, 168 Easton Road, until 11 a.m. on Monday.
- The Horsham Zoning Hearing Board meets on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the township building, 1025 Horsham Road. The zoners will consider an application to permit outdoor seating at Iron Hill Brewery, as well as an application for a two-sided billboard proposed on Easton Road.
- The Hatboro Borough Council meets on Monday at 7 p.m. at borough hall, 414 S. York Road, for its monthly committee meeting. Click here to see what matters will before the governing body.
