Honor Men, Women in Blue, Register to Run

See what's happening this week in Hatboro and Horsham.

  • Horsham Township will host the 14th annual Project Blue Light ceremony on Tuesday beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Horsham Fire Co., 1023 Horsham Road. The event, which culminates with the lighting of a Christmas tree at Deep Meadow Park, honors the sacrifice of the brave police officers who gave their lives in service to the community.   • Wednesday is the registration deadline for Horsham Township's second annual Freezer 5k run/walk, which is slated for Sunday. The event benefits needy Horsham families and the township's park and recreation department. Click here to register.
  • The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Toys for Tots networking event at Aaron's, 317 S. York Road in Hatboro at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Participants should bring an unwrapped toy. More details here.
  • The Hatboro Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at borough hall, 414 S. York Road (if necessary).
