Heroin Talk, War Stories, Table Decorating This Week

See what's happening this week in Hatboro and Horsham.

Keith Valley Middle School, 227 Meetinghouse Road, through Hatboro-Horsham School District's substance abuse awareness initiative, Be A Part of the Conversation, will host "A Conversation About Heroin," Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Monday is the last day to cast votes for Horsham contender Jeffrey Brous in Philadelphia Magazine's Be Well Philly "Health Hero" contest. Click here for more information.

Child and Family Focus, 2935 Byberry Road, is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. on Monday and an open house through 6 p.m. to showcase its new psychiatric outpatient services. 

The Horsham Township Library, 435 Babylon Road, will host a table decorating class on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cost is $20. Click here for more information, or to register. 

On Wednesday from 4 p.m. until close, you can buy a meal at Taqueria del Sol, 4001 Welsh Road in Willow Grove and 20 percent of the cost will benefit the Hatboro-Horsham High School golf team. Click here for more details. 

The Union Library of Hatboro, 243 S. York Road, will host resume its weekly War Stories speaker series on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Speaker Peter Rossetti of Upper Southampton, will share some of his military experiences during World War II.
