Halloween is coming! Here's some ways to mark the occasion in Hatboro and Horsham this week.

  • The Horsham Township Council meets on Monday at 7 p.m. at the municipal building, 1025 Horsham Road. The council is expected to recognize the retirement of police officer Kenneth Walther. Click here to see what other matters will come before the governing body.
  • Kathy Davis Gallery, 303 Horsham Road, Suite E in Horsham is hosting a pumpkin carving workshop on Monday at 6 p.m. just in time for Halloween. Cost is $35. Click here for more details.
  • Blair Mill, Crooked Billet, Hallowell, Pennypack and Simmons elementary schools will hold Halloween parades and parties on Thursday.
  • Speaking of Halloween, in case you missed it, here are recipes for spooky (and edible) Halloween decor.
  • Hatboro and Horsham do not set dates and times for trick or treating. When do your little ghosts and goblins trick or treat? Where are the best neighborhoods to visit? Tell us in the comments.
