Apartment Plan Consideration, Book Sale This Week

See what's happening this week in Hatboro and Horsham.

The Hatboro Borough Council meets on Monday beginning at 5:30 p.m. at borough hall, 414 S. York Road. The governing body is expected to finish the conditional use hearing which began last month for 301 Jacksonville Road, the former Cosmopolitan Motors. The 87-unit apartment, mixed-use development is permitted, but only if specific conditions are met. 

Following the conditional use hearing, the council will hold its combined committee and regular voting meeting at 7 p.m.

The governing body will accept the resignation of Vice President Vincent LaSorsa and is expected to appoint a replacement.

The Horsham Township Council meets at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the municipal complex, 1025 Horsham Road. The governing body will 
consider a Resolution authorizing participation in the merchant service program for the Park and Recreation Department credit card machine. 

The council will also introduce an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance Chapter 230 and adding a new section for the Horsham Township Wireless Communication Facilities Ordinance.

A book and CD sale at the Horsham Township Library, 435 Babylon Road, will begin on Thursday (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and continue Friday and Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
