We Have A New Website!
Local small jewelry business in Horsham moves from Etsy to create its own online store, focusing on direct customer satisfaction.
Over the last few months, Laura and I have been thinking that Etsy might not be the right place for us. There is a lot going on and a lot of "getting lost in the shuffle," with a lot of fellow crafters selling the same things that we are. This is not to say that Etsy is bad, but rather it's not for everyone. We discussed that, although Etsy is a great idea, if we are to be successful we are going to have to create our own brand. So that's what we did.
Last week, I spent a lot of time in HTML-land and created our new storefront AND a more streamlined Web site independently. Not only do we have our products on there available for purchase, we are better equipped for faster shipping, better and more advanced coupon coding, inventory tracking, newly integrated custom order form, mobile site (with our logo icon, for all you iPhone users!) and yes: GIFT CERTIFICATES! The latter was something that we wanted to do just for our store. Two Hearts Bead As One is making the transition away from Etsy and we launched our site earlier this week. We are still listed on Etsy until our listings expire, but we urge everyone to go to our new site.

In addition to the many great features of our new site, we have a newsletter now. Periodically, we will be offering coupons, free shipping vouchers, news bits, and events that we will be participating in.
