Lacrosse: Hatboro-Horsham Boys Net First Win

The Hatboro-Horsham High School boys lacrosse team won Thursday's game–the first of the season–against John Burroughs by a score of 18-3.

The Hatters beat John Burroughs by a score of 18-3 in their first game at Disney's Wide World of Sports. The Hatters were led offensively by Zach Erwine (3 goals, 4 assists), Jimmy Durkin (4 assists), and Jimmy Murphy (2 goals, 3 assists). Pierre Armstrong also contributed with a hat trick. Steve Palo dominted face-offs and also led the team with 6 ground balls. Marc Poust (13 saves) led the Hatters defense along with defenseman Jake Cresta, TJ Keleher, Keith Cameron, Matt McPoyle, and Jack Lavery. The Hatters return to action Friday as they take on defending Georgia state champions, Milton High School.
