Lacrosse: Hatboro-Horsham Boys Pummel Pennridge

The Hatboro-Horsham boys lacrosse team defeated Pennridge 12-1 Tuesday.

The Hatboro-Horsham boys lacrosse team opened up its conference play with a 12-1 win over the visiting Rams from Pennridge. The Hatters got off to a slow start only leading 4-1 at half time.

The second half Hatboro-Horsham outscored its opponent by a score of 8-0. Zach Irwine (4 goals), Ryan Higgins (3 goals), Jimmy Murphy (1 goal, 3 assists), and Jimmy Durkin (2 goals, 3 assists) led the Hatters offensively. Ben Cellini and Connor Kreston also contributed 1 goal a piece. Brian Beck and CJ Pessalano dominated on face-offs as Beck also led the team with 4 ground balls. Jake Cresta, TJ Keleher, and Keith Cameron played solid defense along with a superb effort from goalie Marc Poust (11 saves). The Hatters look to win two straight conference games as they take on CB South Friday afternoon.
