Lacrosse: Boys Defeat Holy Ghost Prep

The Hatboro-Horsham High School boys lacrosse team won its fifth straight game Tuesday against Holy Ghost Prep.

The Hatboro-Horsham boys lacrosse team won its fifth straight game, and 13 out of its last 14, as they beat Holy Ghost Prep 8-7 in a must-win non-league match-up Tuesday.

Zach Erwine, Jimmy Murphy, Jimmy Durkin and Ryan Higgins led the Hatters offensively. Ben Cellini and Steve Palo contributed one goal each. Jimmy Murphy also led the team in ground balls with seven. Steve Palo dominated on face-offs, giving the Hatters plenty of opportunities to maintain its lead and hold on for the victory. Marc Poust was solid in goal recording 12 saves on 19 shots.

Hatboro-Horsham looks to win its sixth straight game, and end the regular season undefeated in the SOL, as they honor their senior class against Central Bucks West High School Thursday at 7 p.m.
