Lacrosse: Boys Defeat Downingtown West

The Hatboro-Horsham High School boys lacrosse team beat Downingtown West Monday in non-conference win.

Hatboro-Horsham High School's boys lacrosse team beat Downingtown West by a score of 10-7 to earn a much-needed non-conference win Monday.

Jimmy Murphy, Zach Erwine, Ben Cellini and Ryan Higgins led the Hatters offensively. Steve Palo also contributed with a goal. Jimmy Murphy and Ryan Higgins led the team in ground balls with 3 each. Marc Poust was outstanding in goal, recording 14 saves on 21 shots. Poust got a solid defensive effort from Jake Cresta, TJ Keleher, Keith Cameron, and Matt McPoyle.

The Hatters look to make it five straight wins and 12 of their last 13, as they play host to Holy Ghost Prep Tuesday at 7 p.m.
