Horsham Men Help Propel Muhlenberg's Soccer Season

Two local students helped Muhlenberg College's men's soccer team earn a postseason berth.

A pair of Horsham natives helped Muhlenberg College's soccer team earn a postseason berth. 

Freshman Jack Dusing, a La Salle College High School graduate and sophomore Chris Russamano, a Hatboro-Horsham High School graduate collectively helped the Muhlenberg College men’s soccer team receive a postseason berth in 2013.

Dusing played in 18 games and made one start to earn his first varsity letter. The forward was a key reserve for the Mules, and recorded the first point of his career with an assist in a 1-0 victory at Wilkes early in the season.

Russomano saw action in nine games as a reserve midfielder. He made his first career start in a 3-1 CC victory over Washington College.

Muhlenberg finished the year with a 10-8-1 record for its 28th consecutive non-losing season. The Mules received a bid to the ECAC South Tournament as the seventh seed and beat third-seeded Marywood, 2-0, before falling to top-seeded Swarthmore in the semifinals.
