Spring Is Here - Adopt a Park or Trail

Spring is Adopt-A-Park Time!

The purpose of the Adopt a Park/Trail Program is to create a framework under which citizen groups can contribute to the community by adopting a park, open space or trail and agreeing to improve it through various tasks and projects as specified.   All that is asked of your group is four events or activities at the park you adopt in a year.  For most businesses or civic groups, events involve litter removal, but can also include painting/staining and tree planting.

The Horsham Township Parks Department will work in partnership with business and citizen groups to assist in the reduction of maintenance costs, and more importantly to build civic pride in Horsham's parks system.  Contact Mark Hudson at (215) 643-3131 if you would like to Adopt a Park or Trail.
