Ollie's Bargain Outlet Grand Opening with NASCAR's Kevin Harvick

Bargain shoppers and NASCAR fans, the countdown is on for the grand opening of the newest Ollie’s Bargain Outlet store in Horsham. Bargain shoppers can explore unbeatable deals and 250 lucky fans will have the opportunity to meet NASCAR superstar Kevin Harvick.

The growing chain, known for unbeatable closeouts and “Good Stuff Cheap”, will officially open its doors at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 22. The new Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is located at 200 Blair Mill Road in Horsham in the Village Mall.

Folks should arrive plenty early for a chance to meet Harvick. Beginning at 7:30 a.m., 250 tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis (limit one per person). At 10 a.m., ticket holders will be able to meet and have their photo taken with Harvick, as well as have him autograph one piece of their own memorabilia.

He has been a long time friend and supporter of Ollie’s and we’re glad that Horsham area fans will have the opportunity to meet him at our grand opening.”

This year marks Harvick’s 12th season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.  In 415 starts, he has earned 18 wins, five poles, 89 top-five and 183 top-ten finishes.  Harvick currently ranks third, behind Kyle Busch and Mark Martin, for all-time NASCAR Nationwide Series wins with 37 and has the second best modern-era (1972-present) Sprint Cup Series record of 81 consecutive races without a DNF (did not finish).

“It feels great to celebrate this milestone grand opening with Ollie’s,” said Harvick. “They’ve been an outstanding partner to me and my racing team for several years now, and I really enjoy spending time with their crew and meeting fans at events like this.”

Ollie’s generates about 50-60 new jobs for the local community with each new store it opens, ranging from cashiers to assistant managers.  Ollie’s employs over 3,000 associates in its 124 stores across 13 states.
