Graeme Park Goes to the Dogs at 5th Annual Dog Faire

Join the Friends of Graeme Park for our 5th annual Dog Faire. Vendors, rescues, and non-profits selling an assortment of products for dogs and dog lovers will surely have just the thing you can’t live without and of course the rescue groups will have information on different breeds and dogs they have for adoption.

The day’s activities will include a “My Dog Can Do That” Game at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., the Bad Dog’s Bone Yard Dog Biscuit Hunt at 1:00 p.m., audience participation dog training demos put on by K9Jym of Colmar at 1:30 and 3:00 p.m., a Doggie Halloween Parade at 2:00 p.m. and a Best Trick Competition at 3:30 p.m.

There will be free raffles and prizes for the contests. When not participating in these activities, visitors can take the Passport to Nature Scavenger Hunt around the property and collect passport stamps and a special surprise at the end while enjoying a nice walk through our woodland trails with their dog. Two legged visitors may tour the historic Keith House and there will be food available for purchase in the food tent. Dogs should be up to date on vaccinations, friendly with other dogs and people, and kept on a short, non-retractable leash controlled by an adult at all times.
