Did you know that Willow Grove and Huntingdon Valley can boast sweeping pastoral views rivaling the best verdant landscapes of Ireland, trees that started growing before the beginning of the Revolutionary War, and rocks that among the most ancient on Earth? If you’re not familiar with some of the natural and cultural gems tucked away in the Pennypack Preserve, join the staff of the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust for a guided tour to explore some of these special places, and an explanation of the work that the Pennypack Trust has undertaken to restore damaged portions of the landscape. The trail system in the Pennypack Preserve consists of dirt trails traversing gently rolling hills, but participants will descend to Pennypack Creek and will need to walk up a long, steep hill on a rough trail at some point during the program.

Reservations are recommended, in order to reserve a place on the walk, it is suggested that you call Lauren at the Penneypack at 215-657-0830 and register for the walk
