Baseball: Hatters Trounces CB West

Hatboro-Horsham's baseball team got a strong start from senior pitcher Zach Prendergast in a 14-2 win over CB West Thursday. The Seton Hall bound senior struckout nine in five innings while allowing just one hit, one walk and two runs, both unearned.

Senior Ryan Kelly led the offense, going 2-5 with a towering homerun. He now has a five-game hitting streak. Sophomore shortstop Chris Crookham was 1-3 with three runs scored. Eric Thomas was 1-1 with a walk, a run scored, and an RBI.

The Hatters (5-5 overall, 4-3 SOL Continental) have now won four of their last five games and they have allowed just eight runs in their last five games.
