Vaites comes from Reading School District, and before that Southeast Delco School District.

“I’m very excited because in meeting the team it was very clear that they’re very invested in the curriculum work in the district, and that’s really important because I like working with a collaborative team and I’m excited to get started,” she said.

Deissler spent the past six years teaching at Keith Valley Middle School and recently served as a long-term substitute teaching elementary technology.

“I graduated from Shippensburg University and fell in love with Hatboro-Horsham when I came,” he said. “I’m looking forward to getting to work and really starting to take these kids to the next level with technology and get them ready for the next step at Keith Valley. I’m just enjoying being here.”

Sendell has been with the district since 2006, most recently as assistant principal of Simmons Elementary School, a role she has held since 2008. She has been part of the Hatboro-Horsham Administrative Team, where she helped develop leadership goals and problem-solving skills, according to the district. She replaces Crooked Billet Principal Kári Hill, who leaves this summer.

Tucker will help administer SAP, a program overseen by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to help students who may struggle with mental health issues or substance abuse issues and help them succeed in school.  Tucker comes to the district from the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, where she was the Student Assistance Consultant for the Central Bucks and Morrisville School Districts since 2007, according to Hatboro-Horsham School District.

Beck has served as a long-term substitute teacher in the district for the past four years, and has also worked in the Central Bucks School District. He will be in an all-inclusive fourth-grade classroom, teaching all of the subjects to students.

“I’m looking forward to working with my teammates again, and being able to join up with the same team members that were there before, the ones that hadn’t retired, and being able to collaborate, and build, and make learning fun for the students,” Beck said.
