Lacrosse Teams Think Pink

Proceeds raised from Wednesday night's games will benefit the Mary T Sachs Breast Center.

's boys and girls lacrosse teams will raise their sticks to support breast cancer funding through a pair of games tonight. 

The annual Shooting for a Cure games cost $5 with proceeds benefiting the Mary T Sachs Breast Center. The boys varsity lacrosse team will take on Central Bucks West at 5:30 p.m. and the girls will play North Penn at 7:15 p.m. 

Besides the doubleheader, a “fastest shot” contest for boys and girls in various age groups, with winners netting lacrosse sticks, according to organizer Jacquie Beck. Free stickers and lanyards will also be provided to all kids, she said.
