Area veterans are invited to Keith Valley Middle School's "mess hall" on Nov. 11 between 8:30 and 10 a.m. for the eitghth annual Veterans Day breakfast in the cafeteria.
Both active-duty and retired veterans are welcome to attend the breakfast, which will include eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, home fries, bagels, Danish, juice, coffee, tea and other refreshments. Students will be serving breakfast, and have been encouraged to invite family and friends who have served or are currently serving in the military. Each year, the tradition is a terrific opportunity for students to show their appreciation for veterans and learn about history from those who have lived through it.
