2011 Relay For Life of Eastern Montgomery County PA

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people will camp out at the Hatboro-Horsham high school and take turns walking or running around the track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, the Relay will be 24 hours in length.

This year only, our Relay event will offer the unique opportunity to participate first-hand in a landmark new study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).The American Cancer Society will be enrolling people into CPS-3, a long-term study that will help researchers better identify the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.
