2 Hatboro Elementary Schools Lauded for PSSAs

Students at Blair Mill and Pennypack elementary schools topped the state's results for standardized tests.

A pair of Hatboro-Horsham School District elementary schools received applause during Monday night's school board meeting for student successes on the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment.

Representatives from Blair Mill Elementary and Pennypack Elementary will travel to Pittsburgh in January to be officially recognized for ranking in the top 25 statewide as part of the 2011-2012 PSSAs, Assistant Superintendent Monica Taylor told the board.

Blair Mill students placed in the top 25 for math and reading, while Pennypack pupils ranked in the top 25 for math, Taylor said.
