Jarrettown Hotel Italian Restaurant

Restaurant review. Positive feedback would be appreciated if you enjoyed this blog.

Tonight was a wonderful dinner at the Jarrettstown Hotel Italian Restaurant and Bar in Dresher.

Curiosity got the best of us after passing this establishment many times. Well we were not disappointed.

Just think after so many diner and lower-priced restaurant reviews, we actually went somewhere with table linens and linen napkins.

Our server Linnea couldn't have been nicer. She took our beverage order and told us about the evening specials. Along with our beverages, she brought fresh bread and butter along with olive oil.

My wife, for an appetizer, chose the pasta e fagioli soup. I got a bit more exotic and ordered the Asparagi & Prosciutto (asparagus and sharp provolone wrapped with parma prosciutto in white wine sauce). Absolutely delicious.

For our entrees Mary Ann chose the "House Special" (jumbo lump crabmeat and shrimp sautéed in a vodka blush sauce with bowtie pasta). I decided on the "Trio," an incredible combination of veal, chicken breast, and shrimp, with mozzarella. It is served with a side of angel hair pasta in a pomodoro sauce.

We thought about dessert but decided against it. The one thing that did somewhat surprise me was a minimal selection of desserts and no dessert tray. But we were so full from our appetizers and entrees that we sure didn't need it anyway.

Beautiful atmosphere with great ambiance. Located on Limekiln Pike in Dresher a great place for an intimate dinner or a family get together. Take a ride. Give it a try. You will leave happy, full, and satisfied.

Recently had dinner there and could not complain about anything. Food, service, atmosphere all good and, at a reasonable price. Will be eatin there again.

A great place to eat. The building also has lots of history surronding it. My favorite part of the building is that it has rumors of being haunted.

I just spoke with customer service at SEPTA regarding this issue. They can be reached through theirRead More website, through the phone, and through a postal address for customer suggestions and complaints. At the present time Hatboro's station is not slated for specific improvements. The overall plan, however, is to eventually upgrade all of SEPTA's stations to handicap accessible.

if u ride septa with any regularity you should know, not all stops are handicapped accessible. Don'tRead More hold your breath waiting for SEPTA to change that or you can most definitely expect yet another rate increase.....
