Report on Air Base Released, Public Meetings Set
A report on the reuse of the former Willow Grove air base is available for review at the Horsham Township Library and online; two public meetings will be held in January.
The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Disposal and Reuse of the Former NAS-JRB Willow Grove base is now available for public review.
The Navy will be holding two public meetings, as was discussed in last week’s Horsham Land Redevelopment Authority meeting. The review meetings will be held at the following times:
- Monday, Jan. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Both meetings will be at the Horsham Township Community Center.

A copy of the Draft EIS Report is available for review at the Horsham Township Library. You can also view the document online at http://www.willowgroveeis.com/.
The comment period runs from December 23, 2013 to February 10, 2014.
