Milling, Paving to Begin on Norristown Road

The state-owned Norristown Road will undergo paving starting on Aug. 12 and continuing for four or five days. Paving will follow.

Drivers of Norristown Road will want to allow for extra travel time in the coming weeks as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation carries out road milling and paving. 

Norristown Road - from Horsham Road in Horsham Township to Tennis Avenue in Upper Dublin Township - will be milled beginning on Aug. 12 from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. That work will continue for four or five days, according to Horsham Township's Web site.

Road paving will begin in about a week to a week and a half and is expected to continue for four to five days.

Norristown Road will not be closed to traffic. However, lane restrictions will be in place, so drivers should expect delays and may want to consider a different route.
