The calendar may say January, but Hatboro officials have summertime on their minds. 

During its meeting Monday night, the borough council reviewed what would become the membership fees for the 2012 season at . The council is slated to vote on the various memberships during its Jan. 23 meeting.

Councilman Mark Sheedy suggested whittling the 26 different fees – which he said opened the door for theft and fraud – to a more manageable 10 fees. As has been common practice, a copy of the pool membership costs will be included in residents’ tax bills, which are set to be mailed out on Jan. 26.

“People actually look forward to, or they expect it, in their tax bill,” Sheedy said.
