Hurricane Sandy: Closings and Cancellations

As we learn about any closings and cancellations, we will post them here for you.

Schools

• Hatboro-Horsham schools will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Twelve month employees are advised to use caution in reporting to work. Employees' supervisors will contact staff directly if there are any changes.
• Kiddie Academy of Horsham is closed on Monday.
• Montessori Children's House in Horsham will be closed on Monday through Wednesday and will reopen on Thursday.

Government

• SEPTA will suspend all services effective at the end of Sunday's service schedule, including transit at the Hatboro Station. More information is available here. 
• Hatboro Municipal Building closed as of noon on Monday, but will reopen on Tuesday. 
• U.S. Navy open houses scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at the Horsham Township Community Center to seek public comment on the redevelopment of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove have been postponed. A new date has not yet been set. 
• The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority meeting scheduled for Monday night has been cancelled. 
• PennDOT photo licensing centers are closed on Monday.
• Montgomery County government will close on Tuesday and reopen on Wednesday, with the exception of the Willow Grove annex, which is not expected to have its power restored until 11 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hatboro, Horsham and area community spaces

• The Hatboro Area YMCA will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. 
• Horsham Township Library will be closed on Monday. The library's Tuesday story times have been cancelled. Tuesday operating hours have not yet been determined. The library's Web site and online resources may be unavailable. 
• The Union Library of Hatboro will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
• Horsham Athletic Club will be open until 2 p.m. on Monday, but will not have its kids club staffed for children of members. The gym opens at noon on Tuesday.
• Montgomery Mall in North Wales will be closed on Monday and will open at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
• Willow Grove Park Mall in Willow Grove is closed on Monday.
• Horsham Township Recreation Adult Water Color (Monday) and Yoga Classes (Tuesday) have been cancelled.

Businesses 

• Manja Pizzeria, 332 S. York Road in Hatboro will be closed on Monday.
• Simply Twisted Frozen Yogurt in Horsham will be closed on Monday.
