Horsham OKs 94-Unit Development

Cutler Homes plans to construct the homes on what is now Horsham Valley Golf Club.

The Horsham Township Council on Wednesday approved a single family housing development and accompanying pedestrian crossing that an official said would provide .

Both are planned for the roughly 70-acre .

The council granted unanimous approval to allow Cutler Homes to cross Park Creek and replace the pedestrian crossing with a wider bridge, which Township Manager Bill Walker said would provide a more direct route to the roughly six-mile-long PECO Power Line trail.

The trail connection, planned to be added at what is now the golf course on Babylon Road, continuing to Limekiln Pike, would be built in conjunction with a 94-unit development. Township Councilman Andrew Santacroce cast the lone no vote to grant preliminary and final subdivision and land development. The action passed 4-1.
